Sometimes you might want to give your mannequin a bit of a make over, or a new look. You might want to change her style with the seasons or to match a particular decor. Removable covers are great, because they give your dress form an instant new look. You can change from plain to patterned, from muted to bright, or demure to glam in the time it takes to slip the cover on.
Today I’m going to introduce my new range of slip on, removable mannequin covers. They are made of stretch fabric and elasticated at the bottom for a perfect snug fit.
Gorgeous vintage mannequins was where it all started for me, so I wanted to create that look on a stretch cover. These covers are stencilled by hand to replicate the vintage French Stockman mannequins I love so much.
They are perfect for that vintage look and create a feeling of times gone by.
I spent a wonderful day experimenting with different designs and came up with six in total. I also got the tea bags out and did some staining to create an aged look.
