Vintage Stockman Mannequin Recovered in Austen Natural
A lovely vintage Stockman mannequin, who had clearly had a lot of use over the years, was in need of a makeover. The customer wanted her to look as close to how she would have looked when she was new. We chose the Austen Natural fabric from Laura Ashley and I, as I always do, kept to the original seam lines of the tailoring.
She looks great and was ready to be used again for dressmaking purposes or to be an elegant display item.
A long life ahead of her once more.
Do you have a mannequin you love, but the fabric has seen better days? I can recover it for you with any fabric you see on the website, or you can send me your own fabric to use. I always strive to keep the integrity of the original mannequin through keeping the same seam lines of the original fabric covering.
