This stunning mannequin has been decoupaged in images taken from ‘Le Petit Journal’, an original newspaper from the 1890s/1900s.I will send you images to choose from for the central image on the front of the torso and you can also select the size and stand finish. The finished decoupage is coated in two layers of satin varnish to protect the papers and to maintain the quality and durability of your mannequin.
You are able to pin into the torso, but this will leave small pin holes. Are you are looking for a decoupage mannequin to pin into without damaging the covering? You might like ‘April in Paris’, which is tailored in a decoupage fabric.
The torso is made from tough high density polystyrene which can take pins to any part, great for draping or keeping display items in place. The stand and neck cap are solid wood, with a variety of finishes for you to choose from. She is sturdy and stands firmly, but is easy to move to different locations. You can adjust her height by using a small turnkey just under the torso. On receipt your mannequin will require minimal assembly, just attaching the legs to the base of the stand.
She is ideal for –
- light home dressmaking, draping and designing
- display for scarves and jewellery
- decorative display in both home and boutique settings
This mannequin will be made to your specifications, so please allow 21-28 days for completion. If you require her sooner than this, then please get in touch as I may be able to meet your deadline.
